The Bishop's Park

The Bishop's Park is an English-style garden, covering one hectare, linking Place Saint-Michel (with the statue of Peter the Hermit ) to the forecourt of Amiens Cathedral and the Saint-Leu district via a footbridge opened in 1998.

It offers beautiful views of the cathedral chevet, the spire, the north side of the building and leads to the former episcopal palace which today houses a business school.

It was planted with trees (chestnut trees, lime trees, plane trees, conifers, etc.) in the 19th and 20th centuries and was redeveloped in 2006.

Lawns and beds of perennial plants complete the decoration.
