The Maison de la Culture d'Amiens (MCA), commonly known as the "MACU" by the people of Amiens, is a European center for artistic and cultural creation, production and dissemination located in Amiens.
Since its opening, it has offered theatre and dance performances, concerts as well as a cinema programme and contemporary art exhibitions.
The only national stage in the former administrative region of Picardy, it opened its doors in 1965 and was inaugurated on March 19, 1966 by André Malraux. During the 2014/2015 season, it welcomed 55,400 spectators. It welcomes an average of 120,000 people for its artistic activity (live performance, cinema, exhibitions, cultural activities).
