Le Safran – Scène Conventionnée is a place in permanent turmoil located in the heart of a world district. A meeting place between residents and contemporary creation, Le Safran – Scène Conventionnée is a space for exchange, sharing and creation animated by a house spirit.

The Safran’s programming, both accessible and demanding, is resolutely turned towards elsewhere and is combined with both the mixture of genres and cultural pluralism. In addition to the theater of the theater in which around thirty shows are presented per season, the Safran has an exhibition hall, the Carré Noir, an Art Center and many multipurpose rooms used to provide artistic practice classes (drawing, painting, ceramics, dance, etc.) or to make available to artists in artistic residencies.

Many highlights punctuate the Safran cultural season: Les Safra'Numériques - a week of immersion and discovery of digital arts and new technologies, the Second Souffle festival - which explores the links between art and sport, and finally Safran'chir - which understands the world we live in today by highlighting the close links between the stage and current events.
