The Memorial on Place René Goblet in Amiens is a tribute to Marshal Leclerc de Hautcloque. This man, born in the Somme, took part in the military actions carried out during the Second World War. With his second armoured division, he actively participated in the liberation of France.

This monument is a very tall statue that still today hosts all commemorative events related to the Second World War, but also to the liberation.
