Every year, La Rue est à Amiens transforms the city.

The artists – actors, dancers, circus performers, musicians – take over the streets, squares and gardens for a weekend and present the diversity and originality of creation for public spaces.

Between performances, plastic installations and participatory projects, 30,000 spectators enjoy 3 days of festival. Through funny, intimate, poetic or spectacular meetings, La Rue est à Amiens proposes to change our views and our uses of the city. The festival is a source of unexpected encounters in a friendly and festive spirit.

The loyalty of the people of Amiens, who are very attached to street arts, has allowed the festival to grow for over 40 years. Today, it is one of the oldest in France. Every year, there is the Place des Arts Forains and its entresorts, the Saturday evening meeting which brings together thousands of residents, the focus and the convivial space.
